Our Mission
Kaal Ayuveni as a cultural institution aims to improve on the livelihood, housing conditions and development of its people through community based approach that meets the community expectations and that of the stake holders while preserving the culture of the Alur people.
The Chiefdom intends to achieve this through cultural awareness, integrity transparency and accountability, service delivery and community work. All activities are carried out in the name of Alur King for the interest and benefit of the Kingdom.

Aims & Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Chiefdom includes but not limited to:
- Create a dedicated, sustainable and self-motivated community that shall support the community non-formal and formal education including cultural approach to enhance better performance in the Chiefdom.
- Promote the basic primary health care and culture for a sustainable community-based health on routine checkups and referrals to other facilities where possible.
- Maximize on Agriculture, environment and culture through farm enterprises production, value addition, market access and household income.
- Community Development and cultural Initiatives – (CDCIs) through Community Work. That is “WORK FOR FOOD” to maintain the Chiefdom’s infrastructure assets in place.
All these activities are intended to empower the children, youth and women of the Chiefdom. Kaal Ayuveni aims to work alongside communities, schools, churches and other community based institutions in transforming the livelihood of its people and stimulating a holistic development in the Chiefdom.

The functions of the Executive include but not limited to:
- Be the Executive and administrative organ of the Chiefdom
- Initiate policies of the Chiefdom for submissions to the General Assembly
- The responsibility of managing activities of the Chiefdom
- Execute and implement decisions and measures decided and recommended by the General Assembly

What We Believe : Vision
Kaal Ayuveni aims at being a cultural institution serving a prosperous community through improving their livelihoods and maintaining the cultural norms of the Chiefdom and Alur Kingdom as a whole.
The goal of the Chiefdom is to improve on the livelihoods and housing conditions of the community through education, health services, agricultural and environmental sustainability including community development services.
Organization and Management of the Chiefdom
The Chiefdom as a Cultural institution is also a fully registered Community Based Organization (CBO) with the General Assembly as being the supreme organ of the Chiefdom headed by the Chief. The General Assembly meets once in a year .
In executing the affairs of the Chiefdom, the Chief is assisted by a Council of Executives headed by the Jadipu (Prime Minister) as the Chief Administrator of the Chiefdom.
