Activities in the Chiefdom

The main activities of the Chiefdom is trade and agriculture. The Chiefdom has recently opened-up markets where the farmers bring in their agricultural produce and merchandise for sale. The markets are beginning to encourage the Community to take their produce in a centralized place which attracts more customers hence better prices for their produce and merchandise.

The Chiefdom is encouraging the concept of savings (SACCO) especially among women which is beginning to transform the lives of the people and stimulate development.

Agriculture
